RTW Release No. 14: The Desert Dress

Bring the heat in this asymmetrical, sensual dress. A flattering one sleeve draped shape features a playful tie at the shoulder. Throw it on for an easy-to-wear summer style.

Inspiration: The Sonoran Desert

A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Arizona for the first time to celebrate the wedding of my dear friends Erica and Kevin. I also had the distinct honor of designing and making Erica's wedding gown. As the celebration was to be held outside amidst the backdrop of the Sonoran Desert, I dreamed up the perfect dress that I could wear for this hot climate — something breezy yet elegant, lightweight and effortless. And so the Desert Dress was created, cut from a beautiful printed Indian silk.

I have perfected the Desert Dress pattern and created a range of sizes, each in unique fabrics. Some of the sheer lightweight styles have a built-in lining. You are welcome to make this style a Custom Design by selecting your fabric and size during a personal appointment.

Enjoy this dress while the weather is hot!
