When Gabrielle was asked to be one of this year’s stars in the annual “Dancing with the Kansas City Stars” benefiting Cristo Rey, she knew her performance needed to be a special reflection of her personality and style. She and professional dance partner Johnny Francoviglia danced the foxtrot to Leonard Cohen’s, “Dance Me to the End of Love.” an unexpected choice that resonated with her on many levels.

As Gabrielle began dance lessons this past fall we started meeting to design her costume. Here is the process.
