I'm so inspired and excited to have joined the team at Asiatica | Kansas City. I started in August 2015 as a cutter – making for an extremely busy fall season. Asiatica creates one-of-a-kind garments from vintage Japanese kimono fabrics, contemporary artisanal fabrics from Japan and other luxurious textiles. The best part is everything is dreamed up and made in house. The process is incredible.

Here's a little visual tour of the shop and what we do:

Our customers seek an individualized look which is wearable, flattering and speaks to their daily needs. By using vintage Japanese kimono fabrics, contemporary Japanese textiles from NUNO and other fine fabrics we can offer a unique variety of fabrics and a wide assortment of styles to suit every customer.

Each piece is one-of-a-kind and made in our store in Kansas City. Available ready-to-wear or by special order, the clothes can be seen in our store or at our trunk shows across the country.

Some highlights from the Fall/Winter season:

1. Asiatica clothing and accessories grace the cover of Kansas City Spaces, as well as an editorial feature on fall fashion.

2. The holiday campaign featured a "12 days" theme and I had a great time modeling some of the garments and accessories.

3. This January 2016 we launched Asiatica's online shop! It's been such a rewarding project to combine my knowledge of ecommerce and design to introduce online shopping to Asiatica customers.

 4. For the Spring 2016 season I modeled the Lantern Dress in Nuno Silk Pleat. It's so versatile and the bell shape is flattering on many body types. I'm wearing it in Antique Gold and absolutely love it!
