For me, this year has been a time for reflection and focusing on health — both in body and mind. Priorities have shifted from a hectic, fast paced existence to a slower, intentional lifestyle. In this stage of healing and reflecting, I have spent a great deal of time thinking about how to evolve my design business. It has been so exciting to be able to learn new skills — transitioning into digital pattern making has been revolutionary, as well as embarking on applying my skills to 3D fashion (more on this to come)! What I’ve come to realize is that continuing to find excitement in new techniques and finding peace at a slower pace creates a sustainable path forward.

A New Vision

Part of this reflection has manifested in a new brand vision. This summer, I became enamored with the symbol of a swan. I felt a deep connection to this majestic creature for its beauty, grace and serenity.

Fall 2022 Open Studios

Come see the new and beautiful light-filled space in the historic Livestock Exchange Building. This weekend, 40+ artists are opening their doors for a weekend of enjoying art and community. Each artist space is a unique treat to see! The event is free and open to the public.

In the Press

Thank you to IN KANSAS CITY for sharing the story of Kansas City’s garment industry from 1922 to today. It has been a century of some major milestones. Friends, this is a wonderful piece touching on many visionaries that shaped the garment industry of Kansas City. It’s an honor to be included in the article.

As always, thank you for your love and support!
